Coming in Avignon

Avignon by car

- On the Autoroute A7 :
Exit N°24 "Avignon Sud". Take the direction Avignon Centre on the RN7. Cross the beltway "Rocade Charles de Gaulle". After the SNCF engine sheds ("rotondes"), turn left at the traffic lights on to "Boulevard de la première DB". After the second traffic light, take the first road to the left, Avenue des Chalets. N°7.
The Avenue des Chalets is wide, and you can park easily.

Avignon by train
- The TGV high-speed train station in Avignon is outside the city in the Courtine area. You will find taxis to take you to the city center or to the house Chez Marie (10 minutes).
The Avignon Center train station is a 20-minute walk from Chez Marie. There are also taxis.

Avignon by avion
- Avignon Airport: taxis with a 20-minute ride to the house.
- Marignane Airport (Marseille) : 80 kilometers away, 45 minutes by car.
- Nimes Airport: 50 kilometers from Avignon.

Avignon is located in the heart of the Provence.

The region offers quite a range of excursions. You will need several days to see everything :
To the North : the Mont-Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail, the famous Cotes du Rhone vineyards...
To the East : the Luberon with all its picturesque villages such as Gordes, Bonnieux, etc... The Gorges of the Nesque.

To the South : the Alpilles, Baux de Provence, Saint-Rémy de Provence, Glanum ruins of a Roman town, the Camargue and its natural reserve...
To the West: the Gard, Nimes, Grande Motte, Montpellier...
